Education and research grants funding – applications open

The Council operates an education and research grants funding program with two rounds of funding offered each year. Applications for the end of year round of Education and Research Grants funding are now open, with applications accepted up until the closing date, 1 November 2018.

The Council offers two types of grants:

Successful Development and Education Grant recipients are able to demonstrate that not only will they benefit from attendance, but the wider pharmacy community will also benefit in some way.

Examples of appropriate uses include:

  • A research project in a problem area identified by trends in complaints made to the Council, such as drug and alcohol addiction of pharmacists or pharmacy students.
  • research into possible causes of and strategies to manage health conditions (for example depression) within the profession.
